Once upon a time Muji decided to make a nylon cosmetic brush case and shortly after that I went into a Muji store and thought “Wow, that could make a good pen case”; and a few minutes later I left the store and with two cases and some other ‘very necessary’ stationery purchases.
Scotch Brown is an unusual name for a brown ink as Scottish whisky varies widely in colour from shades of light golden honey to dark amber giving the ink maker quite a range of colours to work with, and as you can see from the main picture this ink is definitely a chocolate brown and not a whisky brown. It’s fair to say that my experiences of Pelikan fountain pens have not, to date, been good. I had the Stola 3 which arrived damaged thanks to the genius who designed the tube case clip for Pelikan and then I had the M205 Demonstrator; suffice to say I have thrown away better unbranded pens than this.
