Meticulous Ink

A few weeks ago I was in Bath and I paid a visit to Meticulous Ink who are to be found at 134 Walcott Street.

Meticulous Ink specialise in bespoke letterpress printing and high quality stationery; they also sell a nice range of stationery and run workshops in letterpress printing and calligraphy.

Meticulous Ink is run by Athena and I was lucky enough to meet her and get a quick five minute tutorial on how to set up the dip pen and nib I was purchasing and which nib would be best for me. In the end I left with six nibs, one nib holder and a few sticks of sealing wax to add to my collection.

I am grateful to Athena for the advice and whilst I’m sure it’ll take me a while to get the hang of using a dip pen I do feel ready to try it out.

Then about a week later I decided to try out their mail order service; so, I logged on and placed my order, noting that they clearly state that it can take up to a week to prep your order and dispatch it., my order arrived in four days, well packaged and in perfect condition.

So if, like me you are a stationery addict and you find yourself in Bath log on to the map app of your choice and make your way to Walcott Street and pay Meticulous Ink a visit, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
