These days finding a good and preferably independent stationers is nigh on impossible; so, I decided that when I come across one I would post a few lines and store details so if you are ever nearby you could drop in.
Bath
My first recommendation is Meticulous Ink. A wonderful store that sells a good range of stationery at the front of the store and the rest of the store is given over to printing.
As well as printing and stationery they also offer an extensive online selection; I have bought from them both in person and online and on both occasions the service was wonderful, but more of that in a separate article.
So, if you are in Bath go and see them its well worth your time.

Edinburgh
Last time I was in Edinburgh I visited Paper Tiger; they have three stores in Edinburgh and I went to the store on Stafford Street; which if you arrive before they open is conveniently close to a Caffe Nero.
The store has an extensive selection cards, stationery, chocolate and seasonal gifts and decorations. It is also worth looking at the sale items, I picked up a very nice magazine rack at a bargain price and I also picked up a couple of rolls of Edinburgh themed washi tape.
So, if you find yourself in Edinburgh and in need of a stationery fix Paper Tiger is the place to go.
