It’s been another trip around the sun and that means another year has passed since Terry left us.
I know I will never stop missing Terry and never stop wishing I was waiting for the next book; but this year, at least, we have something new to look forward to.
On May 31st Amazon Prime will be showing the adaptation of Good Omens by Terry and Neil Gaiman, a joint venture between the BBC and Amazon.
I bought the book when it first came out and I’ve read it more times than I can remember and it still makes me laugh, and if I had to choose, I would say these are my favourite lines:
“You’re Hells Angels, then? What chapter are you from?”
“REVELATIONS, CHAPTER SIX.”
— Death in conversation with a biker (Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman, Good Omens)
So, mark your calendars for May 31st; and today pick up your favourite of Terry’s books and read a few or a lot of pages and raise a glass to our absent friend, Terry Pratchett.
“No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away…”
