While browsing Amazon a couple of weeks ago I came across the Bezend pocket planner and as this is the time of year for new diary’s I decided to spend a few pennies and see what it was like, not having used a landscape diary since the days when Filofax dominated the world of diary’s.
So, I placed my order and it duly arrived the next day and I unpacked it and I expected this diary to be much the same as any other diary but I did find differences
What I found was a genuine pocket diary that stacks neatly with my iPhone (Pro Max sized) being approximately 10mm larger all round.

The diary has a nice black hardback cover covered with faux leather and a paper belt on the back of which is details about the diary and its credentials.
The belt has the usual recycling and disposal instructions, and FSC certification information; which means the paper it contains has come from responsibly managed sources.

Internally this is an impressive little diary; the paper is ivory 80gsm with perforated corners and proved itself to not to bleed through; a little bit of shadow on the reverse side of a page but not enough to stop you using the reverse side.

The lined pages have 5ml spacing with useful pages such as Expenses, Important dates. The principal layout is Month to View followed by Week to View each with adequate space for notes.

This diary comes well equipped with extra’s such as gilt edging in rose gold, two marker ribbons, an elastic closure, and elastic pen loop (I would recommend for slimmer pens/pencils only) and a rear pocket suitable for receipts and/or business cards.

The final question is “Would I buy it?”
If I was looking for a pocket planner then yes I would; it’s well thought out and good value for money, everything you need in a pocket diary.
