Ravello, a restaurant recommendation.

I don’t normally write restaurant reviews and I’m not about to start so this isn’t a review it’s a recommendation.

Just after lockdown lifted, we went away for a few days to the Cotswold town of Bradford On Avon (BOA) and one evening we were walking across the bridge into town wondering what we were going to do for dinner when we saw a restaurant to our left and happily it was open.

We strolled across the road to Ravello and read the menu and thought, ‘why not?’

And what a good decision ‘Why not?’ turned out to be.

The food and the service was wonderful, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. During dinner the service discrete and not intrusive, leaving us feeling relaxed and unhurried, which is what makes it wonderful; and the tiramisu was to die for.

It cost us approximately £55.00GBP for two of us; this was two courses including coffee and wine and it was so good we went back the next night.

So, my recommendation is, if you find yourself in or near Bradford On Avon book a table and have a wonderful meal, and seriously have the tiramisu.

Disclaimer: The meals were purchased with my own funds at retail price. The opinions expressed in this review are my own; and I am not connected with the restaurant in any way.
